Our Materials

Silk sourced from Zhejiang, China. Wool and cashmere from Mongolia. Discover where our materials come from and what gives each fiber its distinct character.

SILK · ZHEJIANG, CHINA

Our silk is sourced from Zhejiang, China. Made from the fine filaments of silkworm cocoons, silk has a smooth feel and a gentle sheen that changes with the light.

We choose it for the way it carries color and falls into soft folds. A small square adds a light finishing touch; a larger scarf gives the fabric more room to drape.

WOOL · MONGOLIA

Our wool is sourced from Mongolia. Wool comes from the fleece of sheep, and the natural crimp of its fibers helps hold insulating air.

We like its warmth and texture for everyday scarves. Depending on the weave and weight, wool can feel light and flexible or fuller and more substantial.

CASHMERE · MONGOLIA

Our cashmere is sourced from Mongolia. It comes from the fine undercoat of cashmere goats, beneath their coarser outer hair.

We choose it for its soft feel and gentle warmth. Worn close around the neck or loosely over the shoulders, cashmere makes a comfortable layer. Its weight and finish vary from piece to piece.
